black forest Protein pancakes

Breakfast just got a choco-holic upgrade! Our delicious Macro Mike Chocolate PB Protein+ Powder mixed with cacao is a double whammy in this thick stack of black forest pancakes. Top with coconut yogurt, our insanely good PB+ Peanut Butter drizzle, and raspberries. Vegans and non-vegans rejoice!


ingredients

Makes 5-6 medium pancakes

  • 1/4cup / Oat flour
  • 1/2 scoop / Macro Mike Chocolate Protein+ Powder
  • 1tbs / Cacao
  • 1/2 / Banana
  • 6g / Chia seeds
  • 1/3cup / Almond milk, vanilla unsweetened
  • 1/2tsp / Baking powder (for self rising or 1tsp for other flours)
  • Vanilla extract, dash
TOPPINGS
 

steps

Mash the banana, then mix in remaining ingredients (if you're using chia seeds let the mix sit for 10 minutes to thicken, which ensures fluffier pancakes).
 
You want the mixture to be thick but not sticky.
 
Add an extra 1 tablespoon of almond milk if required.
 
Scoop out a 1/4 cup of mixture at a time and drop it in one spot on hot skillet, don’t spread it will do that naturally!
 
Let cook until sides start to golden.
 
Flip and repeat.
 
TOPPINGS!
 
Between each layer, spread coconut yoghurt and Macro Mike PB+.
 
Add raspberries to the top then drizzle with more peanut butter!
