Choc PB Caramel Protein Slice

Caramel Slice... a favourite all around! Check out this dairy free, gluten free, vegan, and healthy version of a protein caramel slice. We guarantee you won't be able to stop at 1!


ingredients

For the base:

  • 1cup / Oats
  • 1cup / Almonds
  • 1/2cup / Dates, soaked
  • 3/4cup / Chickpeas, rinsed + drained

For the mousse filling:

  • 1.5cups / Cashews, soaked
  • 3/4cup / Dates, soaked
  • 3/4cup / Chickpeas, rinsed + drained
  • 1/4cup / Cacao powder
  • 6tbsp / Coconut cream
  • 2tbsp / Coconut oil, melted

For the caramel:

For the base, blitz ingredients in a food processor until fine.

Add a dash of water, blitz again and press into a lined baking tin. Freeze.

For the mousse filling, blitz ingredients until smooth.

Spread over base and return to the freezer for 6 hours.

For the caramel, blitz all ingredients until smooth and spread over the slice.

Drizzle with chocolate. Store in the freezer.
