Macro Mike Peanut Butter has 85% less calories than regular full fat peanut butter so this delicious Quinoa PB Protein Porridge recipe is the perfect solution for cold mornings while you're tracking your macros or just trying to cut back fat in your diet. Grab your favourite flavour of peanut butter along with a heaping serve of Macro Mike Protein Powder for this winter breakfast.


  • ½cup / Quinoa flakes (substitute oats)
  • 1½cup / Almond milk
  • 1tbsp / Macro Mike Hawaiian Salted Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 2tbsp / Almonds, chopped
  • ¼tsp / Cinnamon
  • 1tbsp / Hemp seeds
  • 1tbsp / Macro Mike Nut Butter
  • ½ / Banana (sliced down the middle, optional)
  • Coconut oil spray (optional)



Add the quinoa flakes, almond milk and half the cinnamon to a pot and bring to a low boil and then add in the protein powder and reduce to a slight simmer.
Once most of the liquid is absorbed and you have a nice fluffy creamy mixture remove from the heat, its done.
Meanwhile lightly spay a small pan with the oil spray, if you don’t have a good non-stick pan you’ll need to use liquid oil or you’ll end up with banana scrambled!
Cook each side for 2 minutes or until the banana is caramelized.
Transfer the quinoa porridge to a bowl and top it with the banana, hemp seeds, almonds, nut butter and remaining cinnamon.
