Ingredients

Protein Balls
2 CupsAlmond Meal
80gMacro Mike Golden Gaytime Inspired Flavour Almond Protein
10Medjool Dates, pitted
½ CupShredded Coconut
1 tspVanilla Extract
2 tbspCoconut Cream
 Pinch of Salt
To Coat
100gChocolate
1 tspCoconut Oil
80gBiscuit Crumbs

If you love the classic Golden Gaytime then you are going to LOVE these protein balls! The perfect post workout treat!

Steps

  1. Soak the dates in boiling water for 10 minutes.  Then drain off the water.

  2. Place all ingredients into a food Processor and blend until the mix is nicely incorporated. If the mix holds when pinched together it is ready for rolling.  If not add a tablespoon of water and mix again until the mix holds together.

  3. Roll into equal sized balls. Place on a plate lined with baking paper.

  4. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together.

  5. Using two forks dip each ball into the chocolate then place back on to the baking paper. Using 2 spoons, gently coat with the crushed biscuits. Repeat.

  6. Refrigerate to firm up before serving.

    Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
