FAQs
Common questions about Spooky Choc Mint Biscuit Premium Almond Protein (400g Bag), answered.
What makes Almond Protein different from other plant-based proteins?
Most plant proteins are chalky or gritty, but ours is made using a premium blend of Californian Almond and Australian-grown Faba Bean Protein. The result? A silky-smooth, creamy texture that tastes more like a milkshake than a supplement.
Is the Almond Protein dairy-free and vegan friendly?
Absolutely! Every product in the Macro Mike range is 100% plant-based, dairy-free, and vegan-friendly. No milk powders, whey, or animal products ever.
I’m gluten intolerant. Can I have this?
Yes! Our Almond Protein is completely gluten-free and made in a dedicated facility that avoids cross-contamination. It’s suitable for anyone following a gluten-free diet.
Does it taste like almonds?
It’s not overpowering at all! The almond base gives it a smooth, creamy finish rather than a strong nutty flavour.
Each flavour (like Vanilla Buttercream or Choc Hazelnut) tastes just like dessert you’d never guess it’s plant-based.
Out of all our proteins the Almond flavours are most true to flavour, you’ll even find our Golden Gaytime and Kellogg’s ranges exclusively on this base.
What are the probiotics for?
Each serve includes 1 Billion CFU of Lactospore® (Bacillus coagulans), a gut-loving probiotic that supports digestive balance and overall wellbeing.
It’s a great bonus for anyone looking to support gut health naturally.
Why did you choose Almond and Faba Bean Protein?
We tested hundreds of blends before landing on Almond + Faba Bean. Almonds give a smooth, creamy mouthfeel while Faba Bean adds a balanced amino acid profile and great mixability. It’s a game-changer combo that makes our protein so easy to digest.
How do I use it?
Simply mix 1 scoop/sachet (40 g) with 220-250ml of water or almond milk, shake it up, and enjoy! You can also add it to smoothies, oats, baking mixes, or even pancakes for a high-protein treat.
Is it suitable for sensitive stomachs?
Yes it’s gut-friendly and free from common irritants like dairy, gluten, soy, and artificial sweeteners. We also include probiotics and natural B vitamins to support digestion and energy.
How sweet is it?
It’s naturally sweetened with a clean blend of Monk Fruit and Thaumatin so there’s no stevia bitterness, no artificial aftertaste. We’re all about that natural, dessert-like flavour!
